SAT and ACT Upcoming Testing

PWCS students will have opportunities to take both the SAT and ACT this summer and throughout the 2020-21 school year. Many of high schools will be hosting one or both of these important tests for students who plan to attend a four-year college immediately after high school. These schools are hosting tests for the remainder of 2020:

Twelfth-grade students should plan to take the test during the first semester of the senior year so their scores are available to send to four-year colleges for admission in the fall semester of 2021. Eleventh-grade students should plan to take either SAT or ACT for the first time starting in the spring of their junior year.

Special precautions will be taken to ensure student safety during any SAT or ACT test administration session. Social distancing protocols will be followed as prescribed by the Virginia Department of Education and Prince William County Public Schools.

Students must register for the SAT or ACT online at the websites listed below. Fee waivers are available for students with financial need. Contact your school counselor or email studentsupportservices@pwcs.edu if you have questions about registering or paying for either the SAT or ACT.
