The Prince William Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the winners of the annual scholarship program. Each year, the Education and Workforce Committee selects graduating high school seniors who have shown a commitment to academic excellence and community involvement.
After receiving a number of applications from students across the county, the Chamber is pleased to award four scholarships to deserving students. Award winners will be presented with $2,500 scholarships sponsored by Dominion Energy, QTS Data Centers, AWS, and Micron Technologies.
This year’s scholarship winners are:
- Vanessa Agyei, Osbourn Park High School, Incoming University of Virginia Student
- Sean Gentry, Osbourn Park High School, Incoming Vanderbilt University Student
- Dawnie Huyngh, Gainesville High School, Incoming University of Virginia Student
- Natalie Korzuch, Charles J. Colgan High School, Incoming Pennsylvania State University Student
To celebrate the winner’s achievements, the Education and Workforce Breakfast will be held on April 26 from 8:00 to 10:30 a.m. at Beacon Hall at George Mason Science & Technology Campus (10945 George Mason Circle, Manassas).
The breakfast features a panel discussion from City of Manassas Superintendent Dr. Kevin Newman, Manassas Park Superintendent Dr. Melissa Saunders and Prince William County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. LaTanya McDade.
