At its meeting on May 17, the School Board approved Boundary Plan 5 for Lake Ridge and Woodbridge Middle Schools effective for the 2018-19 school year. Rising eighth-grade students will be allowed to remain at their currently assigned schools if they provide their own transportation. These attendance area changes are made in anticipation of the 13-classroom addition being constructed at Lake Ridge Middle School and with the intent of better balancing student enrollment and alleviating overcrowding at Lake Ridge and Woodbridge Middle Schools.
