School Board Vice Chairman Lillie Jessie (Occoquan) was recently inducted to the Prince William County “Walk of Fame” at Tackett’s Mill in Lake Ridge. The honor celebrates Vice Chairman Jessie for contributing “above and beyond” to the quality of life in our community. The Clearbrook and Tackett’s Mill Foundations, the Woodbridge Rotary Club, and New Dominion Choraliers sponsored the SerenAid charity event and induction ceremony on Oct. 19 at Old Hickory Golf Club. Jessie will be honored with a permanent installation of a plaque on the grounds of Tackett’s Mill.
Other 2017 honorees for the Walk of Fame include the late Senator Charles J. Colgan, Sr. and Prince William Police Officer Ashley Guidon; former County Supervisor Hilda Barg, and John Walvius, volunteer with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington and real estate developer for more than three decades.
