Science Fair this Weekend highlights Junior Scientists’ Experimental Genius

Talented science students from across the area will display their science experiments at the junior division of the Prince William-Manassas Regional Science Fair on Saturday, March 25 at the Kelly Leadership Center. Displays will be open to the public for viewing from 8:30–9:30 a. m., and an awards assembly is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p. m.

The budding scientists are students in grades 5 and 6 from public and private schools in Prince William County, and the cities of Manassas and Manassas Park who earned first-place honors in their categories at their individual schools. The categories are animal sciences, behavioral and social sciences, chemistry, computer science, earth and  planetary sciences, engineering and mathematics, environmental sciences, medicine and health, physics, and plant sciences.

Prince William County School Board members are expected to attend.
