Many in-person graduations have been postponed or canceled due to the coronavirus. So, U.S. Senator Tim Kaine announced a contest for all Virginia graduating high school seniors. They are invited to submit a video of an original speech they would give at graduation. Kaine is encouraging students to record videos of speeches 10 minutes or less Speeches should be submitted to gradspeech@kaine.senate.gov by May 15, 2020.
Kaine will select speeches to feature on his Facebook page, and his website.
