Grab your girlfriends and go! Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center announces its inaugural Ladies Night Out.

On Thursday, June 13, 2019, The River View at Occoquan will come alive for Sentara’s Ladies Night Out: Celebrating Women’s Health event. Guests will enjoy complimentary mini spa treatments, shopping with local vendors, delicious appetizers, fabulous silent auction items, a Women’s Health Question & Answer panel with local physicians, and free health screenings to check Blood Pressure, Cholesterol, A1C and Body Mass Index. It will be an empowering night for women as they prioritize their mental and physical health and well-being.

“The goal of this event is for women to take some well-deserved time for themselves,” said Kathie Johnson,
President, Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center. “In addition to enjoying themselves, the Ladies Night Out event allows women to learn more about the health issues affecting them and discuss these concerns with medical professionals.”

Besides enjoying a beautiful setting, guests will be able to support cancer related services in our area. All proceeds will go to the Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center’s cancer mission fund, the new cancer resource center in Woodbridge and the mobile mammography van, which travels the region providing 3D screening mammograms. The mobile mammography van will be at the event providing screenings. Most insurances are accepted. Call 703-523-1560 to schedule your appointment today.

The event is from 5:00–7:30 p. m. on Thursday, June 13 at The River View at Occoquan, 9751 Ox Road, Lorton. Tickets are $40 in advance and $45 at the door. Beer and wine will be available for $5 a glass; cash only please.
