Looking to offer your students scholarship opportunities?

SPARK, the Education Foundation for Prince William County Public Schools, will award at least ten scholarships to graduating seniors this year. Applications are now available on the SPARK website for the following scholarships:

SPARK is only a part of the selection process for the following exclusively administered scholarships:

Dr. Edward L. Kelly Scholarship
$1,000 scholarship to three graduating high school seniors who intend to pursue a studies to enter the teaching profession.

Career and Technical Education (CTE) Scholarship

$1,000 to one graduating high school senior who plans to pursue a professional certification in Career and Technology.

Micron Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Scholarship
$1,500 to at least four graduating high school seniors who plan to pursue a career in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) field.

SPARK manages the funds for the following scholarships, which are designated by school. You must attend the school associated with the scholarship to be eligible to apply if noted. SPARK acts solely as the fiscal agent for the following scholarships and is not part of the selection process, therefore they are not exclusively administered by SPARK.

Austin Trenum Memorial Scholarship- Brentsville District High School
$1,000 to graduating high school senior at Brentsville District High School. Please contact the Brentsville District High School counseling department for application and details.

Derek W. Crowe Memorial Scholarship
$2,500 scholarship to two student athletes from Prince William County. Student must be a graduating senior enrolled in Prince William County Public Schools, Manassas City Public Schools, or Manassas Park Public Schools.

Kristen Marie Harkness Memorial Scholarship- Osbourn Park High School
$1,500 to graduating high school senior at Osbourn Park High School. Please contact the Osbourn Park High School counseling department for application and details.

Sara Lott Memorial Scholarship- Forest Park High School
$1,500 to graduating high school senior at Forest Park High School. Please contact the Forest Park High School counseling department for application and details.

Victor A. Cahoon Scholarship- Osbourn Park High School
$2,000 to graduating high school senior at Osbourn Park High School. Please use the link below to find the criteria or contact the Osbourn Park High School counseling department for further information.

“YES” (Yorkshire Elementary School) Scholarship–Osbourn Park High School
This scholarship is offered to a graduating high school senior at Osbourn Park High School who attended Yorkshire Elementary School. Please contact the Osbourn Park High School counseling department for application and details.

Apple Federal Credit Union Future Educator Scholarship

This scholarship awards $2,000 to two graduating high school seniors who meet the following criteria:

  • The applicant must be a graduating senior attending a Prince William County Public High School who is planning to further his/her education by enrolling at a four-year college or university.
  • The applicant must plan to enroll in a teacher preparation program to pursue teacher certification.
  • The applicant must be at least one of the following:  Member of Today’s Students Tomorrow’s Teachers (TSTT); student enrolled in the Virginia Teachers for Tomorrow (VTfT) course;  or be an active participant in the high school’s Educators Rising organization

Chick-fil-A Prince William County Scholarship
This scholarship awards $4,000 to one graduating high school senior.
