On Sept. 6, McCall Studio Gallery in Historic Manassas held an art show reception honoring the 65+ year career of Robert, an artist in our gallery.
A naval architect and architect of diverse East Coast buildings, and national military ships, Robert got his start in the Fine Arts at home, and is largely self-taught throughout his accomplished enduring career. He received some initial training in architecture when young. He was recently interviewed for his past Battleship New Jersey design work; this project’s oral history resides in the Library of Congress, Washington, D.C.
A part of our community, Robert made an impact showing his work since 2017. Many have been inspired by his talents and enjoyed his fun personality. Join us to see the new exhibit of his life’s work, including Fine Art Acrylics, Architectural Models, Drawings, Pastels, Gouache Paintings, etc. This fall exhibit will be up for the month of September at the McCall Studio Gallery, and may continue this fall.
McCall Studio Gallery has museum-quality local, national and international art for sale and exhibit. The museum tour includes historic art from the 1920s through the last century, and is of special interest around the holidays. It is great for small groups that enjoy art, and if scheduled ahead, tea can be added for a fun afternoon with the arts!
The next community event at McCall Studio Gallery is Friday, Oct. 4 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. with live music, Stop in the gallery for Fall Jubilee Festivities on Saturday, Oct. 5!
