Popular blog PwcMoms.com will again host its popular “Silver Sparkles” event on March 19 from 1:00 – 4:00 p. m. at the Freedom Aquatic and Fitness Center in Manassas, VA thanks to sponsor Drayer Physical Therapy Institute. The “family fun day” features activities for kids ranging from free minecraft classes from Animated Child to a Game Truck to magician Michael Chamberlin. Chick-Fil-A Sudley Manor and Bristow will be on hand with sandwiches and the cow. Just Between Friends of Prince William County will host the DJ. Tickets are available at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/silver-sparkles-family-fun-day-2016-tickets-20891500039 and are $20 per family. All the proceeds from the event go to brain cancer research, a cause near and dear to PwcMoms owner Kristina Kotlus, who battled it herself in 2013. “I am so thankful that I get to be here,” Kotlus said, “and I want that for others who have brain cancer – more days. That’s what this is all about.”
The inaugural Silver Sparkles event in 2014 raised several thousand dollars for research and attracted over 500 people. Tickets are per family – you will need one ticket for everyone that lives in your home as part of your family.
