‘Star Wars! Science and Art Exploring the Galaxy’ at NOVA-Manassas

Artwork inspired by the movie “Star Wars” will be on display in Colgan Gallery at the Manassas Campus of Northern Virginia Community College from March 14 to 31, with a reception March 23 from 12:15 to 1:00 p. m.

“Star Wars! Science and Art Exploring the Galaxy” includes paintings and mixed media artwork created by art faculty and students in painting, drawing and art history courses. PWL Faculty members participating in the show include Rosemary Gallick, Eric Garner, Lauren Jacobs, Matt Pinney and Hank Harmon (retired).

The reception and exhibition are free and open to the public. NOVA-Manassas is at 6901 Sudley Road, and the Colgan Gallery is open 8:00 a. m. to 9:00 p. m. Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a. m. to 5:00 p. m. on Fridays, and 9:00 a. m. to 1:00 p. m. on Saturdays. Contact Rosemary Gallick at rgallick@nvcc.edu for more information.
