​About 15 minutes from Occoquan is Neabsco Creek Boardwalk. This site allows hikers access to wetlands that provide a rich habitat for winged wildlife. Occoquan Bay National Wildlife Refuge is just 10 minutes from town and boosts 642 acres with four miles of trails as well.\
