STEM Event for Seventh and Eighth Graders at Governor’s School @ Innovation Park

Seventh- and eighth-grade students in Prince William County Public Schools, Manassas City, and Manassas Park are invited to attend an introduction to hands-on STEM activities at The Governor’s School @ Innovation Park on Saturday, January 28, 2017, from 10:00 a. m. to 12:00 noon in Bull Run Hall on the Manassas campus of George Mason University.

This annual event, ASTEM, is led by students and faculty of the Governor’s School. A concurrent session for parents on transitioning into a college environment and college-level academics will begin at 10:15 a.m. Both student and parent sessions are free, but space is limited. The deadline to register is January 9. Parents should RSVP for the college preparatory program session to [email protected] and [email protected].
