Henderson Elementary School is one of only 60 locations around the world to serve as a Learning Studio research hub. The school’s selection as an advanced Learning Studio, part of HP and Microsoft’s “Reinvent the Classroom” initiative, is based on the school’s commitment to teaching excellence and educational innovation.

Two teachers, Merle LeDuc, third-grade team lead, and Dr. Molly Oria, special education team lead, are using Henderson’s “Digital Promise” Learning Studio, with support from Lisa Jacobsmeyer, ESOL team lead, Sarah Wiley, instructional technology coach, and Travis Everett, technical support specialist, to link Henderson students to classrooms across the globe. The students build collaborative skills by working together to solve real world problems.
