Congregation Ner Shalom is proud to announce a free Summer Series of lectures and educational modules. Classes meet on Zoom Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m. throughout the summer, starting June 30. These offerings by Congregation Ner Shalom will help us keep our community connection and enhance our general knowledge and understandings in this time of COVID-19. Although the initial audience is the Ner Shalom community, all interested people are welcome.

National and international experts will do presentations on a variety of topics:
• Sander L Gilman, Aesthetic Surgery, the Jews, and the Invention of Beauty: June 30, 2020
• Katy Allen, Judaism and Climate Change: July 7, 2020
• Stuart C. Gilman, Presidential Ethics and the Ethics of the President: July 14, 2020

Additional topics will include Racial Justice, Writing a Jewish Ethical Will, and More!

Registration links are available on our website and Facebook page, and will be sent to our membership list via email.

Ner Shalom houses the only synagogue in Prince William County. As such, Ner Shalom serves Jews among the over half a million people in the Prince William community. To support the synagogue and congregation, and its number of outreach activities, contributions are both needed and greatly appreciated. If you would like to support Ner Shalom, you can make a tax-deductible donation online or mail a check to Congregation Ner Shalom, P.O. Box 2085, Woodbridge, VA 22195-2085.
