The Valentine Dessert Board (or Sweetheart Platter!) is similar to a charcuterie board but filled with sweet treats and the main Valentine star: chocolate. The goal is to create a fun display that is both indulgence and beautiful — there is no specific formula!

The overview.

Select a platter (canvas) that is large with plentiful of space to platter the sweet treats.
Pick a color palette or theme for the display.
Place some smaller bowls or short jars to hold candies, spreads, or berries.
Select some eye-catching or showpiece items, such as cupcakes, fruit tarts, or chocolate dipped strawberries.
Arrange some of the desserts in a pattern: round, square, triangle, heart, line, etc.
Fan some items around the bowls to elevate the appearance.
Fill holes/sparse area with small items, such as chocolate, candies, or flowers.
