Tech Time Gaming Lounge in Woodbridge is turning a year old on Nov. 30, but there’s no need to bring gifts. Instead, they’ll be doling out deals and gifts to customers all day long!
“We will have buy one, get one free hours of gaming and will be raffling off gaming gear like headsets and keyboards, as well as gaming time throughout the day,” said owner Steve Theobald.
One lucky winner will even walk away with an E-Blue Cobra gaming chair like they have in the lounge, which retails for $300.
“Customers don’t have to be present to win the chair,” said Theobald. “We will contact the winner after the drawing.”
Tech Time Gaming is a PC gaming café designed for both serious and casual gamers. With many of the most popular games being social in nature, some people wonder why it’s better than playing at home. When playing at Tech Time Gaming, customers will find 65 gaming stations complete with comfortable gaming chairs, the latest consoles and games, and a lightning-fast internet connection.
“It’s also fun to play with your friends next to you, especially in team-based games. Lots of people come in teams of two to three and stick around for a few hours playing together,” said Theobald.
On top of all that, the lounge features an atmosphere that’s extremely appealing to gamers. Theobald partnered with E-Blue, a leading Hong Kong-based maker of gaming gear and owner of LAN centers to bring customers a state-of-the-art environment for e-sports. It’s the only center of its kind in the Northern Virginia area.
Tech Time offers Xbox One, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch and stations where you can bring your own console and hook it up. You can read the full list of games offered on each console on their website, but rest assured you’ll find all of the hottest games available to you, including Fortnite, Apex Legends, Super Smash Bros, Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Overwatch, Rainbow Siege and more.
The anniversary celebration event will go on all day Nov. 30, and the lounge is open from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Tech Time Gaming Lounge is family-friendly, clean, well-lit and welcoming to all ages. Parents can enjoy free coffee and WI-FI while their kids play, or they can pay for their kids (13 and under) to play and join them for free until 5:00 p.m. every day.
