It’s that time again! The Breathing Room, an organization designed to help women in need after abuse, and the host of the Tina V show have come together to end 2016 with a bang in our community. Tina V, the host of a television talk show based in Fairfax, has partnered with Bar Louie in Manassas to raise funds for the organization The Breathing Room to close this year out, and to march into the new year with a bang. Special guests include Tina Collazo, Founder of Single Mom Empowerment Program, Gigi McMillan, Chief Creative Director of Kamisol Style Consultancy and Lisa Tyler, Personal Stylist for Stella and Dot Jewelry and Bags, and special book signing with Simeaka Melton, Author and Founder of Dear Girls Academy.
The Breathing Room & Tina V. New Year’s celebration will take place on December 29th. The event will begin at 7:00 p. m. and end at 10:00 p. m. Due to the location and the atmosphere of the event, participants are more than welcome to hang out afterwards. The Breathing Room & Tina V New Year’s celebration will be held at Bar Louie, 9501 Liberia Ave., Manassas, VA 20110. This is a fund raising event so by coming out and purchasing a meal and enjoying the event you will be helping to raise funds for the organization. Thanks to the partnership with Bar Louie, when you purchase your meal, 20% of the proceeds will go to The Breathing Room organization. The special guests will bring a quick nugget about their organization and some motivation for this next season in 2017, as well as a book signing from the Author and founder of the Dear Girls Academy, Simeaka Melton.
The Breathing Room & Tina V New Year’s Celebration is so much more than just a celebration of the new year. It is a time where the community can come together and make a stand and say NO MORE domestic violence, and not only stop it, but empower those who have been through the battle. Tina V fought this battle for over seven years, which is why this cause is so near to her heart. So while there will be fun, food, drinks, door prize and more, this is also a time to help those women who are still battling and those who have made their way out. So come out on December 29th, eat some amazing food, and have some delicious drinks, and let’s build our community up by pouring back into an uplifting the hearts of the broken.
