A message from ARTfactory, formerly known as the Center for the Arts:
The ARTfactory is a new name and look for a beloved institution as we move forward in a new decade and beyond.
Now more than ever, we strive to serve and connect to our community. With our new look and name, we will continue to be the staple for creativity. We’ll expand that vision even wider to our ever growing community, while encompassing all that we offer.
The ARTfactory is more than a place; it is people, ideas, and goals. Our historic home in the old Hopkins Candy Factory was built to make candy where we now make art. We will continue to offer the sweetest treat of all – creativity and artistic expression for everyone.
Our new summer catalog will be arriving in your mailbox any day now. Please visit our new website at VirginiaARTfactory.org and let us know what you think of our new look! We are so pleased to be able to offer a better online experience for all who visit, particularly our members. Check out our late spring and early summer classes and camps from our calendar page. There are many great options coming your way. Registration is open now and we can’t wait to see you in person again soon.
We hope you all stay safe through this unprecedented time. We look forward to bringing our community more fantastic programming and events. The ARTfactory is here for you and because of you. ARTfactory is not just a new name, it is a whole new outlook to what we can achieve as a community. Your support over the past 36 years has been our foundation and we hope you will support us as we look to the future. We wouldn’t be here without you!
