About the Silver Tones Swing Band

The Silver Tones Swing Band is made up of professional musicians from the Northern Virginia area, and this high-energy swing orchestra has performed all over the DC Metropolitan Area at countless galas and special celebrations. The Silver Tones are proud to bring to the stage the Silver Belles vocal trio, who recreate the exciting music of the Andrews Sisters from the 1940s era and delight the crowd with their rich three-part harmonies. Solo vocalists Wendy Marie and Gene Bates bring to life the music of Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Dean Martin, and other big band greats. The Silver Tones’ show also includes music from the 1950s, 60s, and 70s by artists like Aretha Franklin, The Temptations, The Beatles, Elvis, Etta James, Bobby Darin, Natalie Cole, and others. This 19-piece swing orchestra, led by trumpeter Dave Shuma and vocalist Wendy Marie, is sure to get your toes tapping in a hurry! Join us on the dancefloor!
