The Quick Facts
- Approval Needed: You must apply for zoning approval via ePortal or in person.
- Paperwork: You’ll need a full-size, to-scale house location survey plat with your proposed fence clearly marked.
- Height Limits:
- Front and Street-facing yards: 42 inches (3.5 ft) max.
- Side & Rear yards: 6 feet max.
- HOAs: Check your community rules!
- Exceptions: A building permit is still required for swimming pool safety or pedestrian protection.
