The Town of Occoquan has reluctantly decided to cancel the Occoquan RiverFest & Craft Show slated for Saturday, Sept. 26 and Sunday, Sept. 27.  The decision was made due to restrictions on social gatherings as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and out of deep concern for the health of the community. This is disappointing news; it was hoped that this beloved event could help celebrate the end of summer 2020 safely. Thank you to Occoquan residents, patrons, and businesses for supporting efforts to produce a spectacular weekend festival. Look for Occoquan RiverFest & Craft Show, returning spring 2021!

Julie Little is Events Director, Town of Occquan. Little said, “As we head into a new season together, we resolve to keep Occoquan thriving as a beacon of hope to our community. We continue to provide opportunities to visit and enjoy Occoquan safely. We could not be prouder of our local businesses who are working tirelessly to provide safe shopping options to our patrons. They have made a strong effort to remain open and comply with the current health and safety requirements.”

Check out the new Occoquan Marketplace or call your favorite business for curbside pickup or shopping appointment.  When visiting Occoquan, please practice social distancing and wear face coverings where required or warranted.
