Twenty-six small business owners received a certificate of occupancy/written authorization to ‘Open for Business’ from the Department of Development Services Small Business Project Management (SBPM) Program in July 2023.

This year, one hundred and eighty-three business owners have started a business with support from the SBPM program, this year (January to July 2023).

“We help create stronger businesses and thriving neighborhoods by delivering expertise and professional services that meet the needs of customers, efficiently and sustainably,” said Mandi Spina, acting director of the county’s Department of Development Services. “Identifying real estate for specific business use types can be complex so we encourage customers to consult with our team of experts, early in the process.”
