Acting and Improvisation (Ages 11-18)
Monday to Thursday, Nov. 30 to Dec. 3, 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Got the acting bug? While perhaps not as easy as accomplished actors make it seem, acting builds on techniques that you can learn and practice. In this class, you will learn many Techniques so important to auditioning and developing not only your actin abilities, but your self confidence. This is your chance to explore audition basics, warm-up routines, script work, improvisation, scene study and character study. Action! For ages 11-18. Register now.
Holiday Drama Workshop (Ages 7-10)
Monday to Thursday, Dec. 28 to 31, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Register by Dec. 21 for 10% tuition discount for non members and a 25% tuition discount for members. Session 1 for ages 7-10. This four-day holiday workshop develops acting fundamentals- the use of the voice, face and body, character and scene work, and acting games that develop imagination and self-confidence. While perfect for the beginner thespian, this session is also useful to those actors who have some experience and want to build new skills. Sign up here!
Holiday Drama Workshop II (Ages 11-16)
Monday to Thursday, Dec. 28 to 31, 12:30 to 3:00 p.m. Register by Dec. 21 for 10% tuition discount for non members and a 25% tuition discount for members. This in-person intro class for young artists will support improvement of fundamental drawing skills while bringing students together for fun and creativity. Come explore line, form, shading and texture using traditional art media and a wide array of lessons and subject matter. The supply fee will provide each student with a kit to use during class that could include pencils, charcoal, colored pencils, pens, markers and pastels. Register now!

Storytelling with Mrs. Claus, Saturday/Sunday, Nov. 28 to Dec. 20. Get into the holiday spirit! Storytelling with Mrs. Claus and her elves at the ARTfactory starts Saturday, Nov. 28. Mrs. Claus will be reading different holiday stories every weekend in the Kellar Theater (Saturdays: 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m./Sundays: 2:00 p.m.).
