WHODUNIT? Murder Mystery Theatre! (Ages 12-18)

Mondays/Wednesdays, Oct. 19 through Nov. 17, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Register by Oct. 12 for 10% tuition discount for non-members and a 25% tuition discount for members.
Actors – bring your inner Agatha Christie or Sherlock Holmes sleuthing skills to this five-week production where mystery, mayhem, and intrigue all add up to a prescription for murder. With nerve rattling suspense, chills, thrills, alibis and spine tingling plot twists, don’t tell anyone “whodunit”…and keep the audience guessing! We will video the final performance for our audience to view online.

Center Stage (Ages 8-11)

Students are challenged to create and sustain a role without the pressure of auditioning. This performance workshop provides an opportunity to take the stage while learning acting basics and valuable theatre skills. Watercolor Basics and Beyond at Windy Knoll Farm (Ages 15 and up)

Explore the beautiful fluidity and transparency of watercolor. Beginners will learn basic tools and techniques; experienced students will explore new methods, materials, and styles. Class is offered throughout the year with a different approach presented each session. List of watercolor supplies given upon registration; watercolor paper will be provided by instructor. Drawing Skills (Ages 7-11)

This in-person intro class for young artists will support improvement of fundamental drawing skills while bringing students together for fun and creativity. Come explore line, form, shading and texture using traditional art media and a wide array of lessons and subject matter. Your supply fee will provide each student with a kit to use during class that could include pencils, charcoal, colored pencils, pens, markers and pastels. Register Now!

Other Upcoming In-Person Classes

  • Colored Pencils Workshop, Sunday, Oct. 4, 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Take your drawings to new depths of visual interest with a better understanding of the colored pencils medium. This workshop will focus on color blending, shading and textural variations possible with an array of application techniques. Colored pencils are supremely portable and ideal for urban and plein air sketching, cartoon coloring, mixed media explorations, and abstract compositions. All skill levels welcome. Supplies will be provided. For ages 12 and up.
  • ARTstars Workshop: R.C. Gorman, Oct. 5 through 9 9 (Monday/Wednesday/Friday), 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. ARTstars Workshops are mini classes for youth introducing a celebrated artist with a unique point of view. Art lessons are inspired by the artist, focusing on design principles vividly emphasized in their work. We will also examine the artist’s life and the impact of their creative voice in their community. Rudolph Carl Gorman was a Native American artist born in Chinle, Arizona. While his most recognizable works are lithographs, students will take inspiration from his art to introduce students to watercolors featuring simple figures and compelling landscape backgrounds.
