Update to the Hylton Center’s Vaccination Policy

The Hylton Performing Arts Center announces an update to its vaccination policy. After close consultation with the health and safety leaders at George Mason University, it’s been determined that current health conditions allow discontinuation of requiring proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result as of May 2, 2022.
Proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result is required through May 1, 2022 as specified in the policy. Beginning May 2, 2022, audience members will not be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result except when required by the event organizer or artist. If proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result is required for a specific event, it will be indicated on the webpage with event details.

Exceptions

Proof of vaccination or a negative test result will be required for the following events in May 2022:

Mask Policy

Face coverings continue to be required at all events. The Hylton is implementing a step-down approach to their current pandemic policies. This approach also includes assessing their masking policy. The Hylton wll announce any changes to this policy with at least 14 days notice via their website.
