The Virginia National Ballet presented two shows of “The Nutcracker” on Friday, Nov. 24 at the Hylton Center for the Performing Arts. The company likes to say that they have the “first Nutcracker of the season” in Prince William, and for many of us, the Christmas season just isn’t complete without seeing a performance of  “The Nutcracker.”

The classic tale was beautifully told by the company’s professional dancers, along with a number of Virginia National Ballet’s students.

Don’t miss the Virginia National Ballet’s upcoming performances! The world premiere of the ballet “AIDA” will be presented on Feb. 17. “Carmina Burana” and and the world premiere of Rafik Hegab’s “Bolero” will be presented next spring. The upcoming performances will be at the Hylton Center for the Performing Arts.
