- Good morning Prince William – Leesylvania State Park invites you to their Harvest Crafts Food Drive event on Saturday November 15th– 11am to 3pm. - Prince William Soil & Water Conservation is looking for volunteers to manage their education program. Tasks include preparing and maintaining the learning capsules. - Cheers to House of Mercy for their ever increasing reach of food and clothing to needy families. Thanks to a volunteer, they have just completed a comprehensive analysis of how far away families in need come to them. - Area Agency on Aging needs a volunteer to converse with a lovely lady from Afghanistan who speaks Dari. She’s lonely and can’t participate in the activities. Please call Daphne at (5714) 792-7155 to learn more.
- Ho, Ho, Ho – Christmas is right around the corner and we are in full swing with our Un Trim A Tree Holiday Gift Program for needy kids. If you would like to sponsor a child at Christmas I can provide you their name, age and two toy wishes so you can be a special Santa to a kid. - Area Agency on Aging is looking for a volunteer to teach a beginner’s Spanish class one day a week on either on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday for an hour or so in the middle of the day at the Manassas Senior Center.
