Do you have a well, spring or cistern in Prince William County?

Learn about your water quality through affordable, confidential testing and become empowered to make decisions about system maintenance and water treatment!

The goal of the Virginia Household Water Quality Program is to improve the water quality and health of Virginians with private water supplies, including wells, springs and cisterns.

How does it work?

1. Pre-pay for a kit using this link: tinyurl.com/VCE-PW-VAHWQP

2. Pick up your sample kit at the Prince William County Extension office. This will be a drive-thru setting.

3. Collect samples on designated date and drop off at Prince William County Extension office

4. Samples are analyzed at Virginia Tech. Receive your confidential results, an explanation of what they mean, and information about addressing any problems via a live Zoom meeting presentation which will be available to help you understand your results.

How much does it cost?

$65.00 per sample kit -space is limited!  This option is available until April 4. Contact mastergardener@pwcgov.org.
