Here’s what’s happening at the Prince William Chamber of Commerce April 15-May 15.

Events marked “Chamber HQ” are held at 9720 Capital Court, Suite 203, Manassas.  Other addresses are included with event info. Council and Committee meetings are open to Members Only as a benefit of membership.

April 24 – Wednesday – 8:00-10:30 a. m. – The Education & Innovation Summit. KEYNOTE SPEAKER:  Dr. Megan Healy, Chief Workforce Development Advisor at Office of Governor Ralph Northam  (This is a new Cabinet-level position created by the General Assembly last year to address the state’s top economic development concerns.)  Event also awards student scholarships to three high school seniors who have demonstrated academic success and community outreach.  Bristow Manor Golf Club, 11507 Valley View Drive, Bristow. Speaker: Heather Martinsen, Prince William County Community Services & Facilitator for the Prevention Alliance of Greater Prince William. Description: A regional coalition working together to raise awareness and share resources to prevent suicide. The program was energized by the Governor signing the “Governor’s Challenge” to prevent suicide among veterans, service members, and families.  Chamber HQ.
