Provided by Northern Virginia Veterans Association
Northern Virginia Veterans Association is partnering with Wreaths Across America to support Quantico National Cemetery and would love the support of the public.
To lay wreaths, those interested can join up individually or in groups (employee/family/church/civic). Select the day and time frame over a four-day time period (Dec. 16 through 19) via Eventbrite registration. Laying wreaths is a memorable way to honor fallen service men and women.
NOVA Veterans Association has a goal of purchasing and laying 2,000 wreaths this year. Wreaths can be purchased directly here.
To make things interesting, consider competitions between your families/groups/ employee departments to see who can purchase the most wreaths or give the most direct donations to NOVA Veterans. (Donations directly support local underserved veterans this Veterans Day and through the holiday season.) Click here to donate directly.
For more information, feel free to email info@novavets.org. If you’d like to volunteer with the NOVA Veterans team to support this event, please email Fred@novavets.org.
