Rooftop Productions presents You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown on Fridays and Saturdays, May 5-20 at 8:00 p. m. at the Kellar Theater at the Center for the Arts, 9419 Battle St., Manassas.
This delightful musical based on the comic strip “Peanuts” by Charles M. Schulz, touches the kid in all of us.  The adventures of Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, Schroeder, Patty and Snoopy features the trials and tribulations of childhood through baseball, flying aces, music, rabbit chases, book reports, crushes, misunderstandings and, ultimately, the things that truly make us happy.
The outstanding cast includes Aaron Verchot-Ware as Charlie Brown, Jay Tilley as Snoopy, Laura Mills as Lucy, Debbie Franck as Patty, Ryan Walker as Linus, and Nick MacFarlane as Schroeder.  Tickets are $20 for general admission and $18 for students and seniors 65+ and may be purchased online at  Call 703-330-2787 for more information.
You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown is directed by Ted Ballard with the book, music and lyrics by Clark Gesner.  It was originally produced in New York by Arthur Whitelaw and Gene Persson and directed in New York by Joseph Hardy.
